A hotel, no matter how fine, is still someone else's space. You move through their corridors, eat at their times, swim in their pool alongside strangers. A villa or chateau dissolves all of that. The entire property is yours — every room, every garden, every view. You set the rhythm. Breakfast at noon if you wish. A midnight swim under the stars because why not. This is the freedom that only a private estate can offer.
There is a particular magic to gathering your closest people under one extraordinary roof. Children running through lavender fields while the adults linger over wine on the terrace. A private chef preparing dinner as the sun sets over the Chianti valley. Three generations sharing a table in a 400-year-old dining room, making memories that no hotel experience could replicate. Villas and chateaux are designed for togetherness — and for the luxury of unhurried time.
We personally vet every property we recommend. We have stood on the terraces, tested the pools, met the staff, and slept in the beds. We know which Tuscan villa has the best sunset orientation, which Provencal chateau has the quietest rooms for light sleepers, and which Balinese estate has the most attentive butler team. This is not a listing platform — it is a curated collection, and our standards are exacting.
Beyond the property itself, we orchestrate every element of your stay. The kitchen stocked with your favourite foods before you arrive. A chef who already knows your dietary preferences. A car and driver ready when you want to explore. Spa therapists who come to you. Wine tastings in the cellar, cooking classes in the kitchen, yoga at sunrise on the lawn. You do not lift a finger unless you want to — and even then, someone is there to help.
From your vision to the moment the doors swing open — we handle everything
Tell us the setting — a vineyard in Tuscany, a chateau in Provence, a clifftop in Bali. Share the occasion, the guest count, your must-haves. We listen deeply because the right property changes everything.
From our portfolio of 500+ vetted properties worldwide, we present a curated shortlist. Every villa and chateau has been personally inspected for quality, privacy, location, and that intangible sense of magic.
Chef arrangements, grocery provisioning, spa therapists, activity bookings, airport transfers, baby equipment, dietary requirements — every element is confirmed and in place before you arrive.
The doors open to a chilled bottle of champagne, fresh flowers, a stocked kitchen, and a home that already feels like yours. Your private staff introduces themselves. Your holiday begins.
What makes a private estate stay unlike any other form of luxury travel
Stone-walled farmhouses surrounded by cypress-lined hills, private infinity pools overlooking vineyards, and kitchens where a local chef prepares fresh pasta from flour milled that morning. Tuscany is not a destination — it is a state of grace.
Sleep in a 16th-century chateau where kings once dined. Private grounds with manicured gardens, wine cellars stocked with estate vintages, and a staff that addresses you by name. The Loire Valley, Provence, Bordeaux — France's grandest estates await.
Cliffside pavilions with plunge pools cascading toward the Indian Ocean. Private butlers, in-villa spa therapists, and temple ceremonies arranged at dawn. Bali's luxury estates blend spiritual tranquility with five-star indulgence.
Private conservancies in Kenya, Tanzania, and Botswana where your lodge is the only human structure for miles. Wake to the sound of elephants at the watering hole, dine under the Milky Way, and fall asleep to the distant call of lions.
Beachfront estates with private coves, infinity pools that merge with the Caribbean Sea, and staff who prepare fresh-caught lobster for sunset dinners on the terrace. St. Barts, Barbados, Turks and Caicos — paradise with a private key.
Alpine chalets in Zermatt with Matterhorn views, log cabins in Aspen with private hot tubs, or Himalayan lodges with roaring fires and panoramic peaks. Mountain luxury means crisp air, warm fires, and absolute silence.

The world's most beautiful private estates — handpicked and personally vetted
Most of our luxury villas and chateaux include a housekeeper and maintenance staff as standard. Higher-tier properties include a dedicated villa manager, daily housekeeping, a private chef, and a butler. For properties where staff is not included by default, we arrange additional services tailored to your needs — from personal chefs to private yoga instructors, nannies, and security personnel.
Absolutely. For most bookings, we arrange a pre-arrival grocery shop based on your preferences and dietary requirements so the kitchen is fully stocked when you walk in. Private chef services range from daily breakfast and dinner to full-board gourmet experiences. We can also arrange local cooking classes, wine-paired dinners, and market tours with your chef.
Every property we recommend includes a private pool — infinity, heated, or plunge, depending on the setting. Most feature fully equipped kitchens, outdoor dining terraces, high-speed Wi-Fi, entertainment systems, and premium linens. Many include home cinemas, wine cellars, gym equipment, tennis courts, and private beach or garden access. We match amenities to your priorities.
Minimum stays vary by property and season. Most villas require a minimum of 3 to 5 nights during regular season and 7 nights during peak periods such as Christmas, New Year, and summer in Europe. Some exclusive chateaux are available for single-night bookings during off-peak months. We always negotiate the most flexible terms on your behalf.
Many of our rural villas, farmhouses, and estates welcome well-behaved pets. French chateaux, Tuscan farmhouses, and Cotswolds properties are particularly pet-friendly. Caribbean and island properties may have restrictions due to local quarantine regulations. We always confirm the pet policy before booking and can arrange pet-sitting or veterinary services if needed.
“We rented a chateau in Provence for our daughter's wedding — 30 guests, four nights, and the most magical celebration any of us had ever experienced. Taro arranged the chef, the florist, the musicians, even a fireworks display over the lavender fields. Every detail was handled so beautifully that we could simply be present and enjoy every moment.”
“The Tuscan villa was everything the photographs promised and more. Our own pool overlooking the Chianti valley, a chef who arrived each evening to cook the most extraordinary meals, and absolute silence except for the cicadas. My children still talk about the pasta-making lesson and the truffle hunt. Taro found us a property we never would have discovered on our own.”
Tell us the setting, the occasion, and the people who matter most. We will find a property so perfect it feels like it was built just for you.
